Come to enliven A3 scanner markets, today introduced the Fujitsu fi-6800. The machine is targeted for the health sector, financial, government, legal and vertical markets. Fujitsu fi-6800 is claimed easy to use, and has supported the campaign unique ‘green’. Fi-6800 can scan A4 documents in landscape orientation with a speed of 130 pages per minute in simplex mode (one side), or 260 images per minute in duplex mode (two sides). Output resolution ranges between 50 and 600 dot per inch (dpi). Fujitsu fi-6800 can scan documents from A8 size up to A3, with a length of up to 3 meters.
This scanner has been equipped with several features. One is Automatic Sorting. By using these features, this scanner can sort the documents by barcodes. Of course it can facilitate the separation of office documents. After the scan, “Automatic Stacker” will set the original document as “Automatic Image Quality Checker” will examine the images already in the form of soft-copy, to look for irregularities such as folds and former scrap of paper.
Fujitsu fi-6800 is made from environmentally friendly materials. Power consumption was only 4W in sleep mode conditions. This scanner is also equipped with technology light-emitting diode (LED) which claimed the latest is able to give brighter light in a short time. Fujitsu fi-6800 is sold USD20.000 and is available in several countries in Asia namely Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and India.
